Biography

Efa ferch Ieuan was born about 1400.^[1]

Father: Ieuan Gethin of Baglan, son of Ieuan ap Lleision of Baglan and his wife Efa ferch Llywelyn.^[2]

Mother: Elsbeth ferch Thomas,^[2][3] daughter of Jonet ferch Llywelyn Fychan of Meisgyn^[4] and Thomas, son of Ifor Hael of Gwern-y-clepa ("Gwern y klepa ymassalec...in Bassaleg"^[5]) and his wife Nest ferch Rhun.^[6]

Husband: Morgan of Radur, son of Llywelyn ap Ieuan ap Llywelyn ap Cynwrig.^[7] Morgan's mother was a daughter of Ieuan^[8] ap Gruffudd ap Iorwerth.^[9]

Children:

• Margred married John ap Thomas Gamage^[8][10]
• Catrin married Thomas ap David Mathew^[8] (Thomas died 1470).^[11]
